The 2nd track from ‘Where The Wild Things Hide and Hunt’ is ‘My Darling’.

Here we have a classic love song (yes, you did read that correctly). We too have a squidgy emotional bit inside of that hardened outer layer.

The theme of My Darling focus’ on the acceptance of each other within a relationship.
Its easy to accept the better parts of a persons character, but takes a bit more patience to work through the rougher more vulnerable aspects.

My Darling comes with open arms offering the message of; Don’t hang on to those gremlins of the past. I’m here now, ready to love you, take you as you are and move forwards, and together we can kick those sleazy gremlins into the dissapearing horizon.

My Darling

Oh My Darling
Oh how I’ve waited for you

Let’s right these wrongs
With the hands of time
Let’s do better
With this life of mine

I’d give forever
So fear leaves you be
Lost in the warmth
No need for memory

Come on set ya free
Come now walk with me

Oh My Darling
Oh how I’ve waited for you

I got you babe all terrors and trials
I got you babe all pain and denial
I’d give forever
So fear leaves you be
Lost in the warmth
No need for memory

Come on set ya free
Come now walk with me

Oh My Darling
Oh how I’ve waited for you

I could stare at you all day
Don’t want you any other way

It’s all warming up this asphalt we ride
Chasing the mountains and chasing the tide
