This was the first single we ever released in 2017. We have come along way and have loved the journey and cried a few times to. This is a song about when all your expectations about what life would look like fall apart and out of the wreckage you find a truer version of yourself and a much more honest, intimate and wilder form of life. Expectations or high expectations can lead to a lack of gratitude and a tendency to feel anxious about the future. Now I try and be grateful for the real things and anything external is a bonus.
