Why We Need Help Now? (Album Number 2)
We love making music. We are ready to make album number 2 and continue our musical journey. Funding and money is an issue. We both work 4 days a week in ‘real’ jobs. We have never paid ourselves for our work with True Strays. All profits we reinvest into the band. We can’t afford to make this album on our own. Being an independent musician is amazing but without investment and support making an album is tough.
The cost of living means we have less money. Making an album costs more money.
Why we need help now:
- Gigging and touring has become 40% more expensive and there is no profit in touring for a band at our level currently.
- No funding available for us.
- We need investment to finish the album.
- We have built a great career and we are ready to take it further
- We are asking for £7000 to get the album rolling.
- The whole album will cost £12,000.
We don’t need profit to make music but making an album is expensive and we can’t make it with out money. That’s where you come in…
