Here’s a special rendition of the traditional – ‘Take This Hammer.’

This is from our only gig this summer.

Watch out for the epic rain at the end. This song we play as a tribute to the people whose struggle created the songs that we still play today. Their struggle continues with the Black Lives Matter movement. It’s time for us to stand up to prejudice and injustice. This song originates from slavery and the chain gangs in the American south. You can hear recorded versions by Leadbelly and Mississippi John Hurt who are very important black musicians in the journey of the blues.

This song always silences a crowd and brings them in. Hope you had a great Monday.
